Description
Multi–azide click-able broadband non-fouling graft copolymer for specific functionalization through SPAAC chemistry.
This polymer is optimized for covalent binding to (transition) metal substrates and ceramics (Al2O3, Ta2O5, ITO, TiO2, ZrO2, Fe2O3, steel, brass, bronze, Au) via its nitro-dopamine side-groups.
The azide groups shall be functionalized via strain promoted azide-alkyne click chemistry (SPAAC using DBCO or BCN functionalized molecules).
Systematic name:
poly(acryl-amide)-g-(PMCA90:10, 1,6-hexanediamine, nitro-dopamine) (9100:116.2:198.17 Mr; 0.15:0.425:0.425 d)
MW PMCA90:10: 9100±910 g/mol
poly(methyloxazoline-co-azidopropyloxazoline) (PMCA) grafting density: ca. 15% of PAcrAm™ backbone monomers.
10% of the oxazoline monomers carry an azide, approximately 10 per PMCA side chain
